MLK....Thank You.....
How do you say thank you to someone who......
~Stood up
~Spoke out
~Paved the way
~Made change
~And gave his life
It feels impossible. But today that's what I want to say. Thank you, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for making today better than yesterday. Now it's our turn. Happy birthday.....
I had the privilege of hearing MLK live when I was in college. He gave his I have a Dream speech. he was eloquent and so gentle with his words yet so very powerful. A great memory and a salute to him today.
Anonymous aka..Kathleen...=) I agree 100%! I can't figure out why people think any other way. The world would be filled with peace if we all took on that way of thinking! Hugs....A.
Madge...Oh how I would have loved to have heard that speech in person. I feel it in my heart being married to who I'm married to. Thank you my friend for sharing your memory! Love you! A.
It's good to see someone who can appreciate what he stood for. I'm a black man married to a white woman. I grew up dating white girls and went through my share of issues with their respective families and my own. I applaud your strength and want to say bless you and your family. Hopefully more people will learn that love truly has no color.
Thank you so much for the beautiful comment and for taking the time to stop by and read. I LOVE hearing about other interracial couples! I hope to hear from you. Have a fabulous week!

I have never strayed from that belief.
