~Donate blankets, scarves, gloves, jackets, hats to the homeless
~Shop local
~Visit a senior
~"Adopt" a family
~Grocery shop for someone
~Donate money to charity
~Take a senior to lunch
~Help someone decorate their house who isn't able
~Buy from friends: Crafts, products, books, art, etc.
~Donate toys
~Take someone to see the holiday lights
~Spend time with family and friends
~Read to children; at a library, a shelter or a school
~Shovel snow for a neighbor
~Volunteer to clean the beach
~Recycle trees, boxes, paper, etc.
~When the season is over...pause, reflect, rewind and repeat. =)

The entire list in this post is filled with things that we do as a family each holiday season and throughout the year. Good reminders that eventually become habit.=)

Thanks so much! I had to share this one again and this year I added a couple more things to the list. The funny thing is, I shared it on "Giving Tuesday" and didn't even realize it was until I saw some posts about the day on Facebook! Perfect timing!
What do We have to be thankful for this season? When I think of things in my life to be thankful to the Holy Spirit of God for, well I am thankful that my 3 sons are good sons, Never been arrested, never in jail/prison, never in a gang, always dress with their pants pulled up, do Not have a lot of gang or satanic tattoos and thanks to my upbringing by my parents, I taught my sons to have never slapped or hit their girlfriend or wife and they never have. I am thankful to my parents that taught me to Never see race nor skin color in choosing a wife and my sons have followed the same wonderful tradition... In the Holy Bible, it is written "train up a child the way he/she should go and if the child learns and obeys the child will Not depart from those ways." "Let's Keep Interracial Love & Marriages Alive" nkd
